Today we celebrated the opening of Vexlum US Inc., our US subsidiary based in the state of Colorado! We had great honor to have traditional ribbon cutting with H.E. Mikko Hautala, Ambassador of Finland to the United States, and to host local and Finnish delegate guests in a warm and lively cocktail event at our new office in Broomfield near Denver!
Colorado has central location in the United States, it is home to many high-tech industries, and has attracted a lot of top talent, especially in the Quantum Technology. For the same reason, Colorado has also played a special role in Vexlum. It was here in Boulder Colorado, where the collaborative research project between NIST Ion Storage Group and Vexlum team started already in 2012. The project targeting to develop single-frequency VECSELs for trapped ion quantum computing was a great success and resulted not only to the foundation of Vexlum but also to lifelong friendships.
