Big congratulations to Vexlum Chairman, CSO, and Co-Founder Mircea Guina for being selected as the Innovation Professor of the Year 2023 by Technology Industries of Finland and Spinverse! Mircea is heading the Optoelectronics Research Centre (ORC) in Tampere University, one of the leading European academic research groups focused on the development of optoelectronic materials, and home of Vexlum and many other Tampere based laser companies. Congratulations for the other winners as well; CTO of the Year award in large companies’ category was given to Juha Kytölä from Wärtsilä, and CTO of the Year 2023 in the SME category to Kuan Yen Tan from IQM Quantum Computers.
